The Canada Wide Science Fair

The Canada Wide Science Fair (CSWF) will be held from May 31 to June 6, 2025, in Fredericton, New-Brunswick. Up to four winners from Secondary 1 to 5 are eligible to participate to the CWSF. All expenses will be paid for the winners and a chaperon.

Accommodations and Meals

Accommodations for students and chaperons will be provided either in rented units or with hosts at various locations in the community. It is required that you bring a sleeping bag. Breakfast, lunch, healthy snacks and supper including the closing ceremony banquet on March 20. will be provided.

Luggage

The science fair location is at a walking distance from accommodation sites (10-20 minutes walk). It is necessary to bring very warm clothing: snow pants, parka, warm boots, tuques and mittens. There will also be optional sports activities in the gym and a swimming pool. Bring suitable clothing.

All expenses are covered by the organisations. If you have special needs or allergies, not included elsewhere, please indicate below.

A bus will take you to your accommodation on arrival and from your accommodation to the airport the day of your departure.

To register to the Quebec Indigenous Science Fair which will be held from March 18 to 20, 2025, in the communities of Whapmagoostui and Kuujjuarapik, please send us the completed registration form by March 6, 2025. Enter one registration per team of one or two students.

Before filling the registration form, have on hand:

The written report of a maximum of 5 pages +2 pages or references in pdf format.

The authorization form signed by the student and a parent if the student is less than 18 years old.

The project report will be submitted to the judges only.

Students will present their projects on a display board that will be available on site. Its size is indicated under the rules tab, as well as the judging criteria. They should also bring their logbooks and project report.
