The Canada Wide Science Fair

The Canada Wide Science Fair (CWSF) will be held from May 25th to June 1, 2024, in Ottawa. Up to 4 winners from high school could participate.

Accommodations

Participants and chaperons will stay in hotels in Gatineau. You are responsible to make the hotel reservations for your team. Hotel suggestions are indicated here.

Meals

Lunch and snacks will be available free of charge on March 19, 20 and 21 as well as the closing banquet on March 21 at UQO.

Transportation

Schools are responsible for the transportation and accommodation costs as well as breakfast and suppers (except for the banquet on Thursday March 21). If you need financial support, please contact, Marc Lalande, president-treasurer of QASEA: marc.lalande@sympatico.ca or 819-684-1889.

Students that are less than 18 years old must have the authorization form signed by a parent or tutor.

To register to the Quebec Indigenous Science Fair which will be held from March 19 to 21, 2024, please send us the completed registration form by March 10, 2024. Enter one registration per team of one or two students.

Before filling the registration form, have on hand:

The written report of a maximum of 5 pages +2 pages or references in pdf format.

The authorization form signed by the student and a parent if the student is less than 18 years old.

The project report will be submitted to the judges only.

Students will present their projects on a display board that will be available on site. Its size is indicated under the rules tab, as well as the judging criteria. They should also bring their logbooks and project report.
